Dr. Rod J. Rohrich to Serve on the Faculty of Two Major Plastic Surgery Conferences

Plastic Surgeon Dr. Rod J. Rohrich will be busy the next few months. February 8-10 he will be attending the Baker Gordon Educational Symposium in Miami. The Baker Gordon Symposium affords plastic surgeons the chance to learn the latest cosmetic surgery techniques and innovations through lectures and by observing actual surgeries.

A member of the Symposium’s faculty Dr. Rohrich’s skills as a cosmetic surgeon have earned him national and international recognition. While in Miami, Dr. Rod Rohrich will give a demonstration performing a Primary Open Rhinoplasty. He will also be a moderator for two-panel discussions. The topics of the discussions will be, “Pragmatic Solutions in Lower Lid Blepharoplasty – Lectures with Video Demonstrations” and “Elegant Outcomes in Body Contour Surgery”.

Dr. Rohrich will act as both panelist and speaker for the “Elegant Solutions in Rhinoplasty” panel. The title of the talk he will give is “Techniques to Preserve the Dorsal Aesthetic Lines in Primary Rhinoplasty”. Dr. Rohrich is also scheduled to be part of the “Facial Rejuvenation” panel.

Dr. Rod Rohrich received his Medical Degree from Baylor University graduating magna cum laude. Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery Dr. Rohrich is both a practicing surgeon and an educator. He practices out of Dallas Texas where he also a Professor of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

From February 28-March 3 Dr. Rohrich will be chairing the Dallas Rhinoplasty Meeting. One of the Meeting’s organizers, he will be part of the faculty for the “Cosmetic Medicine Meeting”. The focus of the gathering will be cosmetic surgery’s latest advancements and techniques. A fresh cadaver lab will offer attendees that chance to practice these techniques under the guidance of an expert.

There will be several discussions centered on Rhinoplasty. Dr. Rod Rohrich will sit on four of the Rhinoplasty panels.
